MIAMI—John Taber has returned to the executive team of Blue Leaf Hospitality, producer of casegoods, indoor and outdoor seating, upholstery, tables and banquettes, as hospitality market manager.
Taber has more than 20 years of experience in the furniture industry. In his new role, he will oversee market development and client relations. Taber previously served as a regional sales manager for Shelby Williams, and later founded Just Hospitality, Inc., where he served as an independent representative for various furniture manufacturers.
“I met [CEO] Stan Shockley 22 years ago and am excited to renew my relationship with Blue Leaf. Over the years I have accumulated a keen understanding of the manufacturing process and quality standards, from concept and prototype stages to full-scale production. I look forward to working with our clients to find the best solution for their design needs,” stated Taber.
Blue Leaf Hospitality, following the dissolution of BLUECOAST, will continue to work out of its main warehouse and facility, located here. The company has created custom product solutions for brands such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Ritz-Carlton Hotels. Recently, Blue Leaf completed the final phase of production on casegoods for the Trump National Doral Miami and the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda.
